Great News from the Lebanon Farmers Market!

Locally Grown

I am so encouraged by what I found at the Lebanon Farmers Market this morning. First, that there were three vegetable producers was wonderful: Autumn Harvest Farm, Blue Ox, and Cedar Circle, all with tables filled with wonderful squash, carrots, onions, beets, potatoes, celeriac, greens, etc. But the news is, there were also shiitake and oyster mushrooms (a successful new experiment from Autumn Harvest), and stoneground whole wheat flour and dried beans from Cedar Circle! See my beautiful mushrooms, micro-greens, spinach, eggs, black beans, and flour. It is delightful and exciting to see the expansion of what is produced locally! (The Leb Farmers Market is the third Saturday of the month, 10-1PM, at the Lebanon United Methodist Church on School Street: December 17, January 21, February 18, March 17, April 21.)
